Chamber Mission

The mission of the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce is to enhance the economic, civic, and cultural growth of the area, to improve the quality of life in the community, and to act as the voice of business. It makes available to all members of the business community, firms, and individuals alike, the necessary vehicle through which to combine forces for executing the continuous, year-after-year program of work necessary for positive business development.

The MVHC mission is to provide affordable, accessible, and quality health care in their 11 locations in Guernsey, Morgan, Muskingum and Coshocton counties.
 
Cambridge MVHC is located at 1330 Clark Street.

Urgent Care is provided to anyone – you do not need to be a prior patient to utilize the Urgent Care!

Monday – Saturday 7:00am – 7:00 pm
Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm
 
❤️MVHC is committed to making sure patients get the care they need and will provide transportation. Patients can be picked up at their home and transported to MVHC or if they have been referred out of town- MVHC will provide transportation as well – at no cost to the patient.🫶
 
The Pharmacy at MVHC offers free home delivery for patients.
 
👉Hours at the Pharmacy:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
 
🫶Dan Atkinson, CEO, says one of the keys to their success is the strong partnership with OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center. OhioHealth provides X-Ray services at MVHC Cambridge location as well as lab draws are provided at MVHC for patient convenience, and the test results are processed at Southeastern Medical Center.
 
🫶Wendy Elliott, CEO of OhioHealth Southeastern Medical Center agreed that the partnership with MVHC is so important to our community. Wendy said “MVHC provides Obstetric Care Physicians for our community and surrounding counties to be able to provide exceptional childbirth care at the hospital.”
 
🫶MVHC has a patient care charitable fund and they hold an Annual Event, Wild Night for Wellness, held at Deerassic Park Education Center. MVHC is so thankful for all of the businesses locally that support this every year!❤️

Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Booth Distinguished Public Service Award 

CAMBRIDGE — Michelle Carpenter-Wilkinson and Stevie Fairchild were recently recognized for their work and dedication to improve the community by the Cambridge Area Chamber of Commerce.

As the executive director of Heaven of Hope, Carpenter-Wilkinson received the Distinguished Public Service Award. The award is given annually to an individual who demonstrates outstanding personal contributions by ways of active service, leadership and cause.

Michelle Carpenter-Wilkinson received the Distinguished Public Service Award from Jennifer Vincent. 
 

She has worked for 28 years for Haven of Hope as an advocate for victims of crime. She is the founder and chair of essential organizations such as Marsy’s Law Task Force and the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Coalition.

She is the founder and chair of essential organizations such as Marsy’s Law Task Force and the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Coalition. Chamber president Jennifer Vincent said, “We thank you, Michelle, for your creative thinking of new and better ways to assist victims of crime and putting our community first.” She exemplifies what it means to serve selflessly and wholeheartedly.
